Where Runners Live and Play.
8 simple tools that make running more meaningful to you and the runners around you.
We created this entire site from the ground up with the goal of keeping it simple for any runner to use. Here's how we make it happen.
Profile
"Standard" you may say but with an integrated twist. We pull in dynamic content from all other areas of Infinite Runners that you touch. You can even link and display your blog.
Timeline (Found only on IR)
We automatically create a timeline for you once you add race results. It's a cool feature that allows you to share your running life year by year with as much or as little information that you desire. Add a race report for each result to remember the day years later.
Log
Our log was developed for the time-pressed runner as well as a runner new to the sport. It's just the basics with larger type. But it does have a nice feature for marathoners that shows your mileage for the last 8 weeks - ideal for seeing your buildup/taper.
Rankings (Found only on IR)
All of your results from your profile go into our rankings. You can now see how you stack up against runners in your city, your running group or by many other variables. Ideal for groups/clubs.
Races
Our race calendar now has over 2,000 races and is growing. Leave buzz (comments) about a race you've run, add a race or simply flag one you plan to run.
Bursts (Found only on IR)
Our bursts (quick bursts of written energy) feature simulates pre- and post-race chatter. Post a short message to simply tell others about your workout or race, how you are feeling or what you are up to this very minute. Ideal for marathon training groups.
Stores (Found only on IR)
Infinite Runners believes stores are the backbone to every great local running community (and not an afterthought). That’s why we encourage all runners to select and display their favorite running store on their profile page. Every store has its own page like groups and you can even see how you rank against other fans of the store.
Groups (Coming Soon!)
We uploaded information on all the main running groups in the United States. Whether your group struggles to maintain a web site or not, now your members can post profiles, results, comment on the group or see how they rank against other members.
I hope you like Infinite Runners as much as I do. If you do, please help us spread the word as the IR team wants to reach 50,000 runner members by June 2010. I thank you for your time and hope that you make IR part of your daily running life.
See you on IR and at the races! Register Today!
